I love this man's work! I have seen a one piece myself and it is most impressive. How wonderful for you to be here to capture some of his fantasy work. Very nice composition . I love how you bright out the colors in the glass. V.

Artist's Description

This was my favorite setting at the Dallas Arboretum. The boats and glass balls were floating in an infinity pool, hence the name Infinity Boats. I really liked the whispy clouds in the sky above and the reflection they left in the water. I went back to the Arboretum in the fall and it was another clear beautiful day to get a little different perspective letting in more of the sky and clouds like feathers. The night exhibit was just as inspiring as the daytime and when I went to the evening event there was a band playing for all to enjoy.
All the sculptures were on view at the Dallas Arboretum from May of 2012 and the show was extended through the end of the year.
glasswork was placed on 15 acres of the arboretum's 66 acres. People have come from all over the world to see this exhibit.
Living nearby the Arboretum, I would frequently see a lot of traffic going in and out on a continual basis.

About Cheryl McClure

Cheryl McClure

Welcome to my galleries. My goal is to capture the beauty of the world around us and share it with you! Be sure and follow my most current art journey on Instagram at cherylintexas_art! Art is in my bones... and I see it in my family too. My grandmother, mom, brothers, sons and grandkids all have that artistic ingenuity. I think you can always look around and see something beautiful to behold. From a young age, I enjoyed drawing and painting so being self taught and then going a step further, I worked to receive an Associate's Degree in Art. But I really think that the artistic expression comes from within no matter how much training you have. When you look at an artists works, there always seems to be a pattern or style of some kind....
