Acrylic on canvas board. Harris’s Sparrow. I'm not a pro at identifying birds, but I think this is a Harris's Sparrow!
This little birdie has been visiting our bird feeder and perched on one of the agate type rocks that my mom had collected many years ago. The ammonite in the foreground came from a fossil hunt with our Paleontology group and was found at Lake Texoma. I have always loved rock and fossil hunting so I have an abundance. So glad this little birdie stopped by. It picked the perfect place to pose in my rock/fossil garden.
