This is just an absolutely wonderful vista - the work of nature just amazes me. Those crags look like sculptures by a Master. How lovely. F/V

Beautiful capture, Cheryl! I haven't thought of Roxborough Park in years, but I'm sure I was there a long time ago. I'm also certain I didn't take any photos as lovely as this one! v/f

Roxborough State Park, a 3,339-acre (13.51 km2) Colorado State Park, is known for dramatic red sandstone formations. Located in Douglas County 25 miles (40 km) south of Denver, Colorado. In 1980 it was recognized as a National Natural Landmark because of the number of ecological systems and geological formations. About Cheryl McClure

Cheryl McClure

Welcome to my galleries. My goal is to capture the beauty of the world around us and share it with you! Be sure and follow my most current art journey on Instagram at cherylintexas_art! Art is in my bones... and I see it in my family too. My grandmother, mom, brothers, sons and grandkids all have that artistic ingenuity. I think you can always look around and see something beautiful to behold. From a young age, I enjoyed drawing and painting so being self taught and then going a step further, I worked to receive an Associate's Degree in Art. But I really think that the artistic expression comes from within no matter how much training you have. When you look at an artists works, there always seems to be a pattern or style of some kind....
