Description
Inspired by a picture I took of the last duckling to hatch from our incubator in 2020. She was the only duckling with lots of yellow feathers and she grew up to be a blonde duck. Her mom was a Rouen and dad was a Pekin.
We had brought her in and sat her in the light box so I could shoot pics. Jan Paul was there to run interference in case she decided to make a run for it, which she did! Lol! But she had the cutest disposition and cocked her head while looking at us... so cute!
She’s all grown up now and enjoys life at with the other animals on the homestead ranch we share at Pickle Creek Ranch on Facebook.

Oh my goodness, Cheryl!!!! This is beyond adorable ... soooo precious!!! What fun you must have had at your shoot!!! You bring to mind days in my very, very young life, visiting my grandparents' farm, and their new broods of chickies and duckies in the springtime. I was a squealing bowl of excited jelly when they let me hold one in my hand!!!!! Suddenly I can hear their rather nasal sounding quackquackquaaaacks ... and the high pitched PeepPeeps!!! Such fun for a kid ... and such fun visiting with your ducky here!!!!! lf t p and fb
