Actually, this painting grew out of paint from another painting I was working on. I didn’t have a plan, I just started putting color on the canvas and let it speak to me! There’s something magical about spontaneous painting and sometimes it really works out well.
This could be food or it could be seed pods or something but as I continued to add color it said charcuterie! I guess seeing all those Instagram post ideas and trays full of food filtered through my brush. Haha!
