When I went to New Mexico in Ojo Caliente, I was in a place where I could wander and explore the area. There were lots of rocks and boulders in the landscape and as I hiked higher in the elevation, I was surprised to see flowers! Just a couple tufts of magenta lupine here and there created a beautiful scene. Some rocks were dark, created by lava material and others were light in color.

But I really think that the artistic expression comes from within no matter how much training you have. When you look at an artists works, there always seems to be a pattern or style of some kind....
