Inspired from Irises by Vincent van Gogh (1890)

I repurposed a canvas with a painting I wasn’t happy with, using it as an under painting. I didn’t like the second painting either but while the paint was still wet, I scraped it down and kept adding more to complete this. I don’t typically paint this thick but I love the texture and impressionistic flavor.
