Description
We live near the new (temporary) Ladonia Fossil Park that’s located in Fannin County and it’s all the buzz about how awesome the new location is!
It’s temporary because the river bottom will be dammed up and become Lake Ralph Hall. After construction is complete the park will be moved near the east end where the dam will be located. This may take four years or so, so there is still time to hunt.
We don’t have to enter by rope anymore because the team at Lake Ralph Hall has constructed an expansive parking lot and created an inclined path directly into the river! Now fossil hunters and their families can come out and enter the river easier.
