Feeder creeks drain into the North Sulphur River, here in North Texas, and are great places for fossil hunting especially in the summer. It’s about the only place you can find shade!
I have found some cool fossils up these creeks in the past. I think this was Bailey Pool Creek. Maybe? I looked back in my phone pics till I saw this one and decided to paint it.
When the river is dry and the weather is nice, it’s calling me. Gonna have to go down there for a hike pretty soon!
