Description
The North Sulphur River is home to many feeder creeks. Looking at the entrance to a feeder creek is so enticing, drawing you into another world. After a good rain, the water drains and large chunks of shale will crack, revealing cretaceous period fossils, so embraced by fossil hunters near and far!
Many people travel to Ladonia Fossil Park to enter the river and begin their hunt. Soon, the creeks will be flooded by Lake Ralph Hall, creating other avenues of recreation, making this painting a memory of days gone by.
